It all began with an idea.

I found my true passion for cooking through my father, Rodney, who inspired me with his culinary skills. From a young age, I witnessed him whipping up delicious meals for our family, emphasizing the importance of taste and texture in every dish. At the age of 14, I eagerly started shadowing him in the kitchen, eager to learn his homegrown methods of combining flavors and preparing mouthwatering meals. As time passed, my culinary skills progressed under my father's guidance and trust. He began allowing me to take charge of meal preparations, and it was during those moments that my love for cooking truly started.

While I spent 20 years serving in the United States Air Force, primarily in the aircraft maintenance field, I never lost sight of my passion for cooking. I pursued culinary advancement, honing my skills and expanding my repertoire whenever I had the chance. However, deep down, I knew that my future lay in the realm of entrepreneurship once my military career came to an end. As the time approached for me to embark on this new chapter in life, I thought about what would bring me happiness. Without a doubt, my answer lay in following my passion for cooking.

I firmly believe that food holds the power to bring happiness and enjoyment to people's lives, and that's what I cherish most about being a chef. The knowledge that my passion for cooking can create wonderful experiences for others serves as a constant driving force for me to improve and strive for excellence each day. The culinary world is vast and ever-evolving, providing me with endless opportunities to learn and grow. With each sunrise, I wake up with the determination to achieve something new and push the boundaries of my culinary abilities.
